Safety Bars | Lobo Racks

Safety Bars are vital component for a safe pallet rack storage system. Safety Bars prevent misplaced pallets from accidentally falling through the horizontal beams in a racking system. Safety Bars are also sometimes referred to as Cross Bars, Skid Suppports and Pallet Bar Supports.

 Hookover Safety Bar

We offer two types of safety bars for our roll formed pallet racking. Our safety bars will fit in either our Redirack style or our Teardrop style racking.

The Hookover or Drop-In Safety Bar style shown above, is for use with Box Beams.

We currently stock the following hookover sizes :

48" with 50 mm cups only
44" with 40 mm cups only
42" with both 40mm and 50 mm cups
36" with 40 mm cups only
Note -  Our "stock" color of safety bar is available in orange only.  Other colors can be obtained by special request and paint up charges may apply.

The Clip-In or Snap-In Safety Bar shown above, is used with our Stepped Beams.

We currently stock the following clip in safety bar sizes: 48" 42" 36"

Note - We stock our Clip-In Safety Bar in orange only, but by mid - 2012 this will be replaced by a galvanized finish safety bar. Other colours can be obtained by special request and paint upcharges may apply.

As another option to safety bars, we also offer a wide range of Wire Mesh Decks

Warehouse Conveyor Systems | Lobo Racks

Lobo Racks supplies material handling systems and equipment to local, national and international markets. We offer services ranging from the delivery of basic transportation conveyors to turnkey installations of complex, fully automated work-in-progress production lines and distribution centers.

While conveyors are an essential part of any material handling system, they must interface seamlessly with every other element in the system. To ensure that no aspect of that integration is left to chance, we design, install and integrate entire systems, utilizing the most sophisticated, custom-designed controls software.

Pick Deck | Lobo Racks

As the innovator of this picking system, Lobo Racks proves time and again why it is the top choice for your warehouse racking solutions. With five decades of experience in the industry,  Lobo Racks understands your Pick Deck needs and strives to design products that make your job safer and more efficient.

The Lobo Racks is an innovative picking system which allows workers to easily access the back of a pallet. It is the ideal solution for picking cartons from full pallet loads stored above the floor level. Rather than having to reach in and pull rear cartons awkwardly forward, the picker can simply walk between the pallets and safely access the cartons located at the back of the load.

Load Drawer | Lobo Racks

Our innovative Load Drawer system allows you to easily access loads at the floor level of storage rack. Certain heavy materials, such as concrete mix, are often stored at the lowest rack level in a warehouse because of their weight, and it is not uncommon for them to be gradually pushed back by other loads. Consequently, retrieving these items is difficult and can cause injury to workers.

The Redirack design solves this problem by enabling a worker to move floor level loads into the aisle for easy picking. He uses the drawer to move a load into the aisle, locks the device into position, and safely retrieves the product.

A Load Drawer can be locked in two positions: when it is stored underneath the rack and when it has been extended into the aisle for load retrieval. It is easily moved by pulling the handle away from the drawer and twisting it, unlocking the drawer. It can be re locked by twisting the handle back to the locked position.

Carton Flow Rack | Lobo Racks

Carton flow racking is an excellent solution for businesses or warehouses looking for an efficient and organized system to store goods in. The design of carton flow racks places shelves on a downward slant with rolling mechanisms that allows products to “flow” towards the front of the racks. Products are loaded in the back of the carton flow system, so when an item is removed, the next in line automatically takes it space. This makes for a quick and efficient storage system, and immediate access to multiple items is possible. Great for full carton picks or single item picks.

With Lobo Racks carton flow systems, there are multiple options that allow you to reinvent your current storage system and turn it into carton flow racking. Depending on your current pallet racking system, you may be able to add a Span-Track, Shelftrack, Shelfbed, or Flowbed. These additions allow for rolling systems to be placed on the rack, so items can be easily moved forward without much labour.

If your warehouse is currently without a pallet racking system, or your old system cannot keep up with your needs, an entirely new carton flow racking system can be created for you. This storage system can be customized for your warehouse, to ensure that your business will be able to maintain an increase in business and storage requirements.

Pick Module Systems | Lobo Racks

Pick modules are an ideal choice for storage and picking in high throughput environments due to their ability to organize and manage a large variety of product in high volumes. Pick modules are multi-level racking structures with a conveyor running through them; this conveyor helps to move products from picking areas to shipping areas. Pick Modules are typically used in SKU environments that require a high volume of carton and each picks. Replenishing SKU’s is performed with the use of a lift truck from the outside aisles of the rack structure and may involve the use of pallet flow lanes.

Pick modules are typically large and complex structures that facilitate the storage and easy retrieval of products and goods. These units are a combination of basic pallet racking components like uprights and beams, and sub-components like carton flow racking, pallet flow racking, various forms of shelving, and conveyors. These uprights and beams give the unit structural support, whereas sub-components facilitate the movement of products and maintain inventory control.

Pick module systems can be customized depending on your facility and the storage requirements it will be required to handle. Due to pick modules being a combination of different components, as warehouse storage requirements grow, so can your pick module. Given that these systems are incredibly efficient, they can be utilized in many different industries. From automotive parts to health care to pharmaceuticals, warehouses that store large amounts of SKU’s and ship them out quickly can benefit greatly from pick modules.

Pick modules are an extremely helpful and efficient addition to warehouse storage facilities requiring “carton” and “piece” picking of products.
